Hello,

I am starting up a DNN project. I planned to use Angular Material and want to use AJAX to call server side functions. So, I put my functions that read and write from/to database in some ASMX files, so that I can call these functions using AJAX method from JavaScript. Considering this approach, I have two questions:

1- Is there any possible problem using ASMX in DNN and IIS? And is there any point that I should consider when using ASMX files?

2- How can I handle security issues in this approach? For example, can someone without permission call my web services functions??? Can I handle every module permissions in the corresponding ASMX file?

Thanks in advance...
