Hello,

I am hoping to create a simple asset tracker with 2sic... I have a list of "assets" (tag number, device name, type, etc.) and then I'd like to have a "history" type (asset, event, location, assigned to, etc.)...

I've got the types setup correctly (I think)... But I'm not sure about the templates. Is there a way to see a kind of "sub-table" for a single asset? I'd like to be able to look up a computer and see it's history. It would also be great if it could automatically pull the most recent record to see where that device is and who has it. I haven't found many examples of templates, so I was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction.

By the way: is there a simple way to just get the "create" and "edit" urls so that I can make my own buttons - rather than using the toolbar?

Thanks,

Mike
