I am using private social groups as a place to collect and display results from sporting competitions. I'm interested in having groups that are private from a joining perspective, but public from a visibility perspective, so competitors can interact, but observers can see the results whether they are in the group or not.

Has anyone got any thoughts on this?

Basically I want people to be able to "see" social group pages whether they are in the related security group or not. (perhaps limiting it to registered users.)

AFAIK this is currently not supported by the module - you may consider displaying the content using Reports module (and appropriate module permission).

OK, that's fine.

My group page is mostly made up of Reports modules anyway, so it shouldn't be hard to do as you suggest.

Dylan.
