Hi, looking for any quick starts on how to develop modules to build salesforce dashboards and other integration tools. Is there any documentaion or tutorials out there that cover this type of thing.

Well, by the lack of response I guess that salesforce is not widely used on DNN.  In the abscence of any advice I am going back to basics and will first look at Ajax and Json webservices (which I have never really used much),  then try and plug in salesforce.

When I have succedded l I will post some information maybe even a guide fo others.

Stuart, I realize this is an old post, but integration with Salesforce is really no different that integration with other solutions with an API. On the DNN side, you would just write a module that accesses the Salesforce API to GET and/or POST data. If you are building dashboards for display within DNN, you can use some graph visualizer. As far as documentation or tutorials, you would first need to decide what type of DNN module you want/need. There are classic WebForms based modules. There are Single Page Application (SPA) modules. And there are MVC modules. From there, you would use Visual Studio and follow the appropriate module development pattern. There are many ways to do this, but two of the more popular approaches are:

- DNN Packager (https://github.com/dazinator/DnnPackager)
- Christoc Visual Studio Templates (https://github.com/ChrisHammond/DNNTe...)

I hope this helps, albeit late. :)
