Hi,

I have upgraded DNN and now I am using DNN 07.00.06

I have installed iFinity URL master 2.8.0 and iFinity News Articles FriendlyUrl Provider 1.2.0

I have a page: http://www.domain.com/blog/articletype/articleview/articleyid/1450/my-blog-article

I want URL to be: http://www.domain.com/blog/my-blog-article

This was working before upgrade and module were working fine.

Is there any solution for this?

Regards,

ST

which DNN version were you using before?
Ifinity module has been replaced by built In Advanced URLs in DNN 7.1 and later, but I am not sure, whether there are URL providers for NewsArticle module for it - have a look at ventrian.com and codeplex.com

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for the reply.

I was using DNN 6 before the upgrade.

Is there any solution to rewrite URL like I want?

You can alernativelly use Open Url Rewriter for it + newsarticles provider.

For dnn 7 :
https://openurlrewriter.codeplex.com/releases/view/122546

OpenUrlRewriter_01.02.01_Install.zip

and newarticles provider :

advanced URLs would be the option built into DNN 7/8
Free X3 Url Management module (http://dnnurlmanagement.codeplex.com) should you provide with a UI for all the settings.
