Hi,
I am using DNN 9.0
I installed an Events Module and it works great. Now, I decided to move it to a different page, but cannot find any way to do it. I don't want to lose the events I entered. If I add the Events module to another page, it starts fresh without any events. Is there a way to move an Events module to another page without losing the data?
Looking online, there is so much information about DNN 7.0 and it seems like using 7.0 there might be a way to do it. DNN 9.0 doesn't seem to have as many options from what I can see.

Thanks

Hi Max,

I just did this with a few modules recently in our fresh upgrade of 9.0. What you need to do is go to EDIT mode of the page you want to copy the existing module to. Click the MODULE icon at the bottom of the persona bar that has the E on it. This is to add an existing module. You can check the checkbox to "copy" the existing module which creates a new instance of it with all settings and content... or you can use the same instance by keeping it unchecked.

Once you click OK/ADD button it will allow you to place it into your page containers.

Thanks!

On a related note, is anyone aware of how to dynamically load a module(s)?

Im thinking the principle is the same as Adding Existing Module, but instead of placing it on the page, using a token withing an txt/html to call the module in by its module title? Does that make sense?

Or is there another module i should be considering to achieve this?

would you mind to be more explicit about your use case.
This for sure won't work using HTML module.

Cheers from Germany,
