Hi,
I have two mysterious things I haven't found a solution yet, concerning the Journal module.

1. I'm trying to translate the whole site to Finnish language and managed to do so about 90 % already. There are some weird things just can not figure out.
I created a topic in YAF and got these lines to Journal:

 Admincreated the topic:  a Great story
Kerro muillekin? 1

1 minuutti sitten • Tykkää • Lisää...

 

Now; Where does this "created the topic" phrase come from?   Not from any Journal files anyway NOR from any YAF files... Trust me, I checked ;)


2. If I place the Journal module anywhere else on the which is  limited horizontally  by some means, it result a black screen. The only way to show the module is to place it in fullcontent or content pane which is not so nice for the user. I'm using the basic DNN 9 Theme; Creator Home-Mega.


Anyone have any ideas?

#1 - This does come from the Journal module itself. In the DesktopModules/Journal/App_LocalResources folder there is a SharedResources.resx that contains these (for this specific one, locate the key journal_forum_topic.Text). 

#2 - I haven't seen this myself (I tried to reproduce using a different skin and while it wasn't ideal it definitely worked and displayed a screen). Are there any JavaScript client-side errors being logged?

Thanks a lot. Somehow I had missed that key ;)
What comes to the display problem; No, no error messages what so ever. Same black module screen appears in Chrome and IE. Only place where it shows correctly is my win 10 phone.
I tried the Gravity skin and that woks fine!  So it must be skin related thing. Too bad. I really would not like to change the skin to whole site just because of this....
