Tom,

Root Domain: I give you an example: When your domain name is mycompany.local, then root domain is "dc=mycompany,dc=local".

Please ask the guys who maintain the AD in your company, they should be able to help you about this stuff.

Happy DNNing!
Michael

Thanks Michael,
So this is the Root Domain of AD itself, not the domain of the website, correct?
I do have a call in to our server team which should help.
Do you have much experience with DNN_ActiveDirectoryAuthentication Extension ? I'm trying to determine if it's a good choice for our intranet. Ideally I'd like it to sign people in automatically if they are already logged into the network. But I can't tell whether DNN_ActiveDirectoryAuthentication Extension is a good choice that will still be around and supported in the future. Let me know if you know anything about it, or if there are better alternatives for integrating AD with DNN,
Thanks again.

I was able to get a Windows Login window on the site and automatically got a user created from AD.

But when I try to log in as that user, I get the below error. Any advice on what this error means?

Thanks,
Tom
