I set up a number of pages with different modules and the events module to test interoperability and found an interesting behavior.

I configured the events module with 2 categories and put it on a page with a module called magicnews. When I change categories, the announcements disappear from the magicnews module. They are fine if i view an event but if I change categories, they don't refresh. I need to either view an event or leave the page. not even refreshing the existing page refreshes the announcements.

I also used different containers and found that I would lose the navigation at the bottom (list month week) with some containers. Not sure why.

will continue to test.

Sounds like there could be a name collision w/another module...what modules are you referring to?  Are you talking about the DNN Announcements module?

This can happen if there are two modules w/the same session variables or query parameters...I will take a look at the module and make sure I preface my stuff w/the moduleid and/or dnnevents...thanks.
