To do this you need to set the Preferred Locale in your DNN profile to English (UK). To do this may need to add the English (UK) language to the site via Host/Languages.

I realised that I also had to set Enable Browser Language Detection For Current Portal? to unticked and that sorted out the problem.

I am having another problem my portal is not sidplaying the correct time in the log event though I have set the admin --> site settings --> advanced --> other --> Portal TimeZone to utc 000

this doesnt seem affect the portal in anyway do you know if this is a bug inherint in dotnetnuke
