Hi Alan i'm new and i was hoping to implement the Event 03.03.08 to my project, however i couldn't find the source code for it as the latest version is only 03.03.07. Is there any way for me to get the source code for the latest version? thx

I have some questions about the beta and also maybe some suggested improvements, If people think the suggestions are worth inclusion i will update gemini and add the issue details to this posting

Enrolment Questions for 03.03.08 beta as downloaded 04-May 2007 11:30am GMT.

Can someone explain the Moderator settings particularly the email settings, do i need to provide an valid email address in the Moderator email field or just select the moderator role or both?

How do you unenroll from an event?

Issues

  • The My Enrollment listing is not sorted by date but maybe it should be possible to sort  by each of the columns
  • It would be nice if users could export to calendar and unenroll from events from the Enrolment listing page instead of having to enter each entry
  • Could the enrolment listing be displayed in its own window when the "Event Detail New Page" option is selected
  • Previous enrolments from 3.3.7 instance that did not require moderation still contain the message You are enrolled for this event,
but not yet approved! but any new enrolment is automatically approved. Could approval be applied retrospectively when no moderation is selected

Allen,

We just tested 3.3.8b on 4.4.1 and were possitively impressed with the workings of the module. It is now in a state that I can use it for my clients. IMHO the main improvements are now in the area of usability, skinning/templating and maybe some documentation on the {0}{1}{2}, ...

Thanks,

Peter

Thanks Peter for the positive feedback.  Mostly what we get are issues and enhancement requests.  It's good to hear some the effort is paying off.

We do have a few other minor reported issues that I will try to resolve this week.  Once this is done, we will move on to the documentation.  Not sure what to do w/skinning/templating yet.  Suggestions?

Just my 2cents but Ventrian does an excellent job using token based templates in their news module. It's simple to implement, easy to extend, and gives a ton of flexibility to the end user without having to edit template files.
