DNN 4.5.1

Portal is set to CST, Event is set to CST, however when I use the export feature, and open it with Outlook, it shows being an hour behind.  For example, Meeting A on the Event Calendar is from 10-10:30, when I export to Outlook, it shows as 11-11:30.

Any ideas if this is a bug, or if something on my setup is not correct?

Thanks in advance!

You might want to look at App_GlobalResources\TimeZones.xml in your DNN install.  Make sure that the Offset for the TimeZone (CST) is set correctly.  Currently, there is no way to handle DayLight Savings Time using the TimeZone file (which is what the module uses).  It's up to the user to manually changes offsets in the xml file when DST is invoked...

What happens is when exporting an event, it looks up the Offset and converts it to GMT +0.  Then the will be translated to the corrrect offset on the Desktop Import (in this case Outlook).  Hopefully we will have a better TZ Offset file that includes DST Start/Stop in DNN soon.
