I am SO frustrated...  I love DNN, and the Events module is essential to what I'm doing, but suddenly I am getting strange phantom revents appearing.

I just updated to the beta (03.03.08) to no avail.

Try this on a standard install, no changes to any of the options:

Book a single event (no recurrances) labeled "MIKE" starting Sept 25 8:00 am and ending Oct 9 07:30 am.

Book another sinlg event labeled "KEN" starting Oct 9 08:00 am and ending Oct 23 07:30 am.

Now go look at November.  Suddenly we have a booking for "KEN" from Nov 1 to Nov 5.  If you delete this entry the other entry you entered labeled "KEN" is also deleted.

HELP!!!

Another example:

Book another event (any name) from March 1, 2008 3:00pm to March 21,2008 3:15pm and everything is OK (ie. no phantoms in April ,2008).

Add another day to the event (March 22,2008 3:15) and we get phantom events in April ,2008.

Thanks in advance.

I can confirm your second example, but I don't have a solution, sorry! I only can say that you get different phantom events when switching to week view, and none in list view. In the database, the event is stored only once. I suggest that you report this issue to the bug tracker.

I logged the bug in Gemini as DNNP-6991 (Events module: long multi-day events shown with wrong start & end dates).

I too had this issue in version 03.03.08, however after downloading and testing this issue against the RC3 of the Events module version 04.00.00, the issue appears to be fixed as stated in Gemini (EVT-6991). I no longer am experiencing phantom events.
