On one site using the "old" events module (3.2.0) on DNN 4.4.1 I had multiple "main" calendars and several list views. I had one module that only listed todays events from one calendar, another that listed the events in the next 90 days from 2 calendars, and one that listed 365 days from one calendar. Since this site is highly oriented towards various events, this gives various looks at the same information.

I'm trying to upgrade this site to DNN 4.7 and use the current events module and it looks like the List Settings are completely ignored. When I upgraded the events module all the list settings were still there, but all reverted to a month view and lost their subcalendar settings. I redid the subcalendar settings so they display, and monkeyed around enough to get the list view to show (setting it in settings doesn't work) but the list views show every event on the calendar no matter what I try.

If this permanently broken and I need to postpone my upgrade or is there some workaround. I really don't have time to start digging through the code.

There seems to be a bug with the list view when you try to view a recurring (!) event within a certain time span - e. g. up to the next 30 days from the current date. The list view will always show ALL events up to the recurrence end date. This does not happen if you select a certain number of events to be listed, e. g. the next 10 events from the current date. Perhaps you can use that option as a workaround.

If that's not a solution for you, then you can still upgrade to DNN 4.7, but then uninstall Events 3.3.8 and install Events 3.2 (still downladable) instead.
