Hi

In event modul an error avoid filter event for category. So I need to how the category for every event. I'd like show event instead of the description of the event. There a way to do this w/out modify the module?

Another question. I need to show just the date of the event and not date and time. The question is the same.Is there a way to show the short date instead of the date/time in the event row.

I'm not quite sure if I understand your first question right, but if you want to show the event category instead of the event description in the tooltip: that's not possible without modifications of the code. But the category bug that you mentioned affects the list view only; month and week view are working well with the category select box enabled. And of course the category is shown on the event detail page.

To your second question: this is also not possible without code modigications, sorry!

I would like the event time without the time, only in date format. How and where can I modify this in the code?

To do this for the list view, see thread "How do I NOT show start time on list view?". Maybe the other views can be changed in the same way, but I'm not sure about that.
