Hi,

I have been used event module in home page with some events adding through Administrator. My question is that i also want same event listings(Event Module) in some inner page of the application without adding same events again means..I want to add events once & the effect will be on both home as well as inner page.

Is this possible to reuse the home page Event module in the inner page.

NOTE:In home page i used "GRAY" skin but in inner page i used SMALL skin.

Add the "child" calendar as a subcalendar of the other one.

I'm having the same issue where I want 2 of the same event module on one page.

First of all, I want the "Small" skin applied to the one on the Right Pane and the default skin applied to the other, in the Content Pane.  When I try to do this, it looks like both of them want to use the same skin (small).

Also and more importantly, I can't seem to get the two calendars to link correctly. I want the user to be able to click on the small calendar on the right and then be taken to the parent calendar page, preferably to any events that happened on that week or month, at least.

How exactly to you setup the child and parent relationships?  Please give me a more detailed explanation of what to put in what fields in the module settings.  I have "Include Other Site Event Modules" checked and I have added the calendar in the right pane under "Add Other Event Module" Do I do this on the small one too?

Hi, I actually had the same problem, but following the instructions of Mike, it was resolved.

What I did is:

1- I have Two instances of event module, each one on a separate page.

2- Setup the events on one of them

3- Go to the setting page of the fresh one (other that the one you added the events to)

4- under the Event Module Settings, Subcalender Settings check the "Include Other Site Event Modules" checkbox.

5- When checked, the "Add Other Event Module" should be populated with any other event modules defined in the portal.

6-All you need is to select the module you want to import events from and press Add button next to the dropdown.

et voilà
