I got the following failure message while installing the new Event module(source version).

Could you please help to find out how to solve this?

The source beta version is not for a normal install in DNN. It is complete separate VS2008 solution that contains all projects and sources. Just unzip it in a free folder and get a VS2008 solution with 4 projects.

Only the Install pack is for installation on a DNN (test)site.

Thanks for your promote reply.

I unzipped it, and opened it with vs2008, but the project "DotNetNuke.Events" cannot be loaded, and gives

a System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException exception.

And if I want to customize the Event module, what should I do from here?

e.g., how can I wrap an install package from this solution?
