Mike I found that the scenario also requires that the recurring event span a day in the calendar that has enough events within it to make it scrollable with a scroll bar on the right side.  I had the flicker problem with the scrollable events and resolved that by changing the sizing from % to px, this may be related...

That sounds really strange! Does this happen on a live site, so that I can see it? And do you get the same behaviour with a new module instance on a new page, using default settings as far as possible?

Mike, Sorry I've been away... Yes, I did get the same results on a new page. Loaded events (but using modified css to resolve flicker problem). Added enough events for given day that monthly calendar view caused day of events to be scrolable. Then added recurring event (weekly event; days M-F) that started before scrolable day and ended after scrolable. Behavior then encountered was that events showed on calendar, however when I clicked on recurring event the screen just refreshed and did not drill in to the event details. Even as adminstrator the behavior was the same.

Am I isolated with this behavior or has anyone else encountered anything similar? If others are having a similar problem, I'll rebuild the environment, however at this point I've taken the brut force approach and redefined two months of events as daily entries.

Best regards, Peter
