I am running Evens 4.0.2 on 4.9.0 DNN. I activated options "Remind Anonymous". Users have to type their email adress (if they are not logged) inside of
"Notify Me for this Event @" and there is a proper chek that email address is valid (very good!). if email adress is not valid, error message will be written (Error valid Email Address required).

However, still the typed text is written in the database, which can cause that send email scaduler fails.

Btw. recently I upgraded succesfully from Events 337  to 402 and I'm extremly setisified with all corrections and enhancemt you did. performance is also remarkable!

This is already fixed in the code for the next release, 4.1.0. Can't promise when that will be available though.
