Alan,

I downloaded DNN Event 3.2.0 that you uploaded today on your site. I am having a problem with the Paypal Event Enrollment section. I am able to configure the event correctly.  I am then able to view the Event.  But, when I try to enroll I get the following: Fee: the amount specified USD, and Total Charges: 0 USD

I am thinking that the Total Charges should be equal to the Fee. I am not sure if this is a bug or if I am doing something incorrectly.

Thanks

Steve

Hi,

I too am having an issue with the paypal integration.  It sees the fee, but the total price is zero.  Has there been any progess on fixing this issue.  So far this is the only 'bug'  i've run into.  Great improvements so far and keep up the good work.  It's very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jerry

Does anyone know if this bug has made it to the attention of the project team members?

I haven't seen it anywhere in the buglist or roadmap..

Any info here would be appreciated.

The latest version I downloaded still had the bug, so taking from advice gleened from this forum, I compiled the Events module DLL. For a quickfix you can download it from my blog.

Funny,

I sent the fix to Alan on the PayPal issue months ago, there just hans't been a new release.

I have had a couple of short email conversations with Alan.

From my understanding, there is alot of work to be done in the events area, some confusion of direction from the CORE team on the now confirmed 'Sunset of 3.x' and an integration decision to be made with the Core Store Team.

There is alot of pressure from many sides for features / suggestions, and there are little to no volunteers to assist.

I offered a consulting opportunity to Alan, however, with the events team members all having full-time jobs, this too isn't a viable path.

I myself have very little time to dedicate to a project other than direction and suggestions.

So until a sponsor steps up to assist us all out, or we can get some real 'worker bees' to volunteer the best we can do is organize a game plan, rally interested individuals ready to step up to the plate.

Perhaps there are enough small sponsors when agregated to motivate someone to take the reigns.

I appreciate the difficulty of  running a business and dedicating time/resources to a project that does not provide direct revenue.

I have a few project contracts that will be using a modified events module, so there is a 'bit' of sponsorship opportunity from my point of view.

Are there others?

We need to get some momentum moving here.

Cheers,
