With the latest RC3, when I make changes to the settings., the event calendar display shrinks and looses all of its templating and css characteristics.  The remedy is to delete the calendar from the page and re-initiate.  I am useing IE7, note problem also occurs in IE8 Beta2.

What causes this?

Hans

Hi Hans,

This is due to a bug in DNN5, and is relatively easily solved. If you go to the Themes folder ~\DesktopModules\Events\Themes and rename the folders with the correct capitalization you should be ok. They should be:-

  • Default
  • Events
  • FixedBlue
  • Gray
  • Small

Cheers
Roger

Roger,

Thanks .... works like a dream...

Actually, I could not believe that the team would release the code to Beta with such a big issue

The file capitalization filename letter-casing issue is fixed in 5.0.1 (due next week!).  Letter casings will go back to being ignored as they were prior to 5.0.

See a list with brief descriptions of the more notable 5.0 issues fixed in 5.0.1 here:
