Interesting since I ran this against SQL2000. However, this won't cause you a problem. I'll correct for the next release of 5.0.2

Cheers
Roger

Hi Roger,

I downloaded RC1 yesterday and got this error on upgrading (SQL2k, dnn 4.9.4).  Can you confirm that this fix is not in the currently posted RC1 but will be in RC2 or the release version.  (Do you expect to release RC2 or will it go straight to 'manufacture' ?)

I have to say that this looks like a fantastic release, the changes that you (the team) have made are great, thank you so very much.

Barry

Hi Barry,

Just had a look through, and whilst I thought this would have made it in to the version in the release process, it didn't. It will be in the 5.0.3 release.

This bug is caused by a correction to the 4.1.0 update script, and in the vast majority of situations can be ignored. You can check whether it matters by checking to see if the EventName column in the Events table is of type nVarchar(100). If it is, there is no problem for you.

Cheers
Roger
