A happy Event has happened!

The Events team is proud to announce that Events 05.00.02 has been finally released. The objective of this Events release is to fix bugs and improve performance of the Events module. Upgrading an existing Events module to this version is recommended.

This new release covers 10 issues. Events 05.00.02 will work for any DNN version 4.7.0 and up.

BUG FIXES (7)

EVT-10071	Editing an event with a deleted owner (DNN user) no longer causes an exception
EVT-10110	Enrollment icons now only show for users who can enroll, or unauthenticated users when there is no role restriction, and only for future events
EVT-10116	Copy To End Date no longer copies the time in Event Edit
EVT-10117	Ajax icon no longer shows after event export to desktop
EVT-10192	Upgrade now caters for PortalId being Null from old versions of the module to prevent loss of (inconsistent) data
EVT-10193	Edit events did not correctly handle different cultures in date validation
EVT-10258	SQL 2000 caused 4.1.0 upgrade to fail, the upgrade SQL has been changed to prevent this

ENHANCEMENTS (3)

EVT-10013	Added support for UTF-8 in iCal export to support non-Latin characters
EVT-10058	Tooltip JavaScript modified for better performance and allowing for a title and body section which are independently formatable via CSS
EVT-10206	Major performance improvements on Event calendars with large numbers of recurring events
