Events 05.00.03 Beta 1 available

The Events team has made the first beta of events 05.00.03 available. In this beta, 24 issues has been fixed as compared to Events 05.00.02. A lot of work has been put into  hardening the table and field structure for the Events tables: the SQL provider script for 05.00.03 is 70Kb in size! Expect the most stable and robust Events module ever.

A warning to you, downloader

This is a not a formal Release of DNN Events 05.00.03. This is a beta version, which is not extensively tested.

Please be aware that this version is based upon a lot of code and database changes. The version represents the latest compiled version of the DotNetNuke Events Module. This is a build that has not passed through the DotNetNuke Module Release Process. The build has received some testing and is made available 'as-is', therefore any usage is at your on risk. Like any beta software it is not recommended to install on production systems. Upgradeability from a beta version to a later beta or production version cannot be guaranteed.

What can you do?

Download the Events module and try it in a test environment. You can upgrade any existing Events module installation with this version. Or uninstall a previous version and start with a clean DNN site and install this beta version on that site.

If you find any issues, go to this forum and post your findings, so the Events team and others can benefit from your experiences. We are all volunteers!
