When syndicating a global calendar, events from sub-calendars do not display. Is this a bug or intended?

Hi John,

Which version of the module are you using? And are you using the Syndication options available in the base Module Settings, or the RSS options available in the Events Module settings?

Thanks
Roger

That was a quick reply!

Version 04.00.02 (waiting for 5.00.03 final release before upgrading - event new page skin issue).. Using the RSS option in the base module setting.. Don't see rss option in events module setting for this version.. Had the same problem with global and sub calendars on my test install with version 5.00.02..

Thanks..

You caught me at my pc....

In 4.0.2 the Syndication I think uses the search functionality built into DNN, which I don't think indexes into sub-calendars.

In 5.x we have added an RSS feed into the module independant of the DNN core. This has much greater flexibility. Some details on it can be found here - DNN Blog. It does shows events in sub-calendars.

Cheers
Roger
