I'm trying to set up an events calendar for a purpose that should never, ever require paid enrollments. In order to prevent unscrupulous users from sneaking a charge in there I would like to completely disable the PayPal functionality of the Events Module. Is this possible? If so, how would I go about doing it?

P.S. Apologies if this has already been asked. The search feature did not produce anything useful, nor did scanning the first 24 pages of this forum.

You can set Enrollment Yes/No in the module settings.

If Enroll = Yes, every event creator can decide to allow enrollment or not and specify if there is payment involved.

So if you are opening up creating new events to all users you cannot limit it to none-payed events only

Darkmoor,

You can also modify the ASCX file that is used when adding/editing events and HIDE the paypal section.  I've done this.  Look for the <TR> that renders the paypall stuff and add runat="server" visible="false" to the <TR> tag.  This will basically disable the Paypal payments for ALL events in all portals.
