Despite having checked "Prevent Schedule Conflicts" on my Events calendar module settings, it is nonetheless allowing me to create multiple events in the same time slot. My assumption was that I would be prevented from doing so, or at least warned. The documentation states:

"Prevent Schedule Conflict: Check check.gif the check box to disallow events being added within the same date and time period. A "Conflict with existing Event! Change Date/Time" message will be displayed if the event date and time conflicts with an existing event."

If relevant, this particular Events module is added as a subcalendar to another Events module.

Can someone please advise as to the correct usage of this feature, and/or how to configure the Events module to prevent scheduling conflicts?

DNN: 5.2.3
Events: 5.0.3

Thanks,
Bob

Have you also ticked 'Check for Location Conflicts'? If so, you will only get a conflict error if you have entered a location, and there is a date/time conflict at that location.

Cheers
Roger

Thanks - that was exactly the issue. "Location Conflict" was checked, and no location was selected for any of the events in question.
