Sounds like a good solution. 5.0.3 is compiled against DNN 4.7.0 and 5.1.1 against DNN 5.2.0.

Cheers

Thanks for the tip, I was going to fiddle a bit later today to see if I could find a way to solve it... so I'll make sure to try out the RC.

I'll post my results back to the thread;

Regards,

Hello Roger & Rouan,

Thanks a lot for your help - I've installed the RC and the events module now works as before. Great!

Kind regards,
</Pieter>

Hi guys... Does anyone know 'what' caused this or 'what' was changed to fix the issue? Since the 4.0 framework we just started having this same issue with some of our modules and I am not aware yet why. -Chad www.datasprings.com

I have seen similar errors when testing some of my modules under ASP.Net 4.0 which is MUCH more strict in its parsing of html markup and is typically caused by a mis-matched quote around an attribute value, an improperly closed tag, or a mis-matched set of nested tags.

For the EditEvents.ascx in Events 5.00.03 the missing closing quote at the end of the style attribute value (line 246) is likely the cause:

<tr>
   <td class="SubHead" valign="top" style="width:160px;>
         <dnn:Label ID="lblNotifyEmailMessage" runat="server"></dnn:Label>
   </td>

although there is also a colspan attribute with no quotes around the value at line 147 and several input elements that are not closed.
