New to DNN, I am currently running DNN 05.04.04 through VS 2008 and ASP.net development server.  I just installed the Event module 05.01.04.  When I create and event and then click on it in the calender view, I am getting an IE "page cannot be displayed" message. The url that is trying to open is page is:
http://localhost/dotnetnuke%20website...

However, the development server is running on port 55116. When I change the url to:
http://localhost:55116/dotnetnuke%20w...
The event detail page opens as expected. Is there a way to correct this?

AFAIK nothing special has been done to prevent or change port #'s.
You might want to try to display the Event detail page in the same page, not in a new page (Edit Settings > Detail View settings > Event Detail New Page NOT checked).

I have tried it both with and without the details page checked with the same results. I uninstalled 05.01.04 and installed 05.00.03 and now the port is being passed with the url when opening the details page, so it appears to be specific to 05.01.04.

Can you create an issue For Events on CodePlex for this? The link is in my signature.
