I am using the Events mod for DNN and its great does all the things i want but doesnt show the events i want as they are in the next 2 months.

What i want is for people to view it in week view and see the week with all the events in it not the current week, i have tried using the Select Events by Number: option but no luck.

Any ideas?

Hi Matthew,

The 'Select Events by Number' setting relates to the List view rather than the Week view. I'm afraid by default the Month and Week views go to the current date, through they do 'remember' the last viewed date for a minute or two after the user accesses the page.

I would suggest you use the list view, if you want to show upcoming events. It does allow a certain amount of templating, which might allow you to format it to your needs.

Thanks for your information it is very informative, but i kind of needed it to be in week view, as list view kind of drags and it is hard to split up the dates.

Could not edit my post but i found the answer with more research.

"You can include a start date in the url to a page, to have the Month or Week views start from that month http://mysite.com/calendar.aspx?eventname=20100529. Date is accepted in the format yyyyMMdd (or a valid date format for your current culture)."
