I have a project that i have to do with 5 websites.  all on the same DNN install.  They are wanting to be able to share the same event calendar.
is there a way to show the same calendar on each site or is there a way to export the info and inport into the other calendars??
Thanks

no, you can't share any of the bundled modules across multiple web sites besides using RSS. You might consider modifying the module according to your needs though.

No, there isn't currently an easy way to do this. The module provides an RSS feed which could be fed into a module in the other portals and formated using XSLT (I think), but that is beyond my skills to explain how.

I have however been adding functionality to allow outbound synchronisation of calendars using the iCal format. This doesn't as yet allow inbound synchronisation, so I don't think as yet could be used to sync between two portals.

Or as Sebastian suggested, you could alter the module to meet your needs.

I believe someone has posted this request on our CodePlex site, so you could add your vote there. Or raise a request if it isn't present, and we can look to add in a future release.

Cheers
Roger

A viable "kludge" might be to have one calendar and open it on your other sites in an iFrame?
