Hello!
I'm not sure if I'm missed some setting but when I set "Registered users" to "edit module" they can actually edit the module settings not just add new events.
I have a clean install of DNN 5.6 with the 5.1.5 Events module.

Any ideas?

Best regard,
Markus

Hi Markus,

I see this problem on my site. This is a problem with DNN Core, since it is not under the modules control who gets access to the Settings of the module itself. I notice that this bug is true of any module where you give the group edit access to the module, not just the events module. You can check this out on something like the links module for instance.

Hi Markus,

I have raised this as an issue on DNN core. I'll let you know how it progresses.

Hello, thanks for reporting this to us. The behaviour you indicate is not what is intended - the expected behavior is that if a user has Edit rights to a module but NOT to a page then they can Edit Content for the Module, but cannot Manage Settings, Import, Export, or Delete. We'll check into this and if it's an issue resolve it for the 5.6.1 release.

Hi, I also have the same issue. DNN 5.6.0 + Events 5.1.4.
