In a site I recently upgraded to 5.6.2 I can no longer add events with the "+" icon though I can if as an admin I use the Drop Down List. Also if I click on the different view icons next to the plus (e.g., the weekly view) the page does not show the new view unless I then refresh it in the browser. I upgraded to Events 5-02 to see it that would help but no success.

When I check the JS that should run in the Firefox web council  I get this output:

THANKS! I had GZIP enabled. disabling it took care of the problem. I also added a comments on Gemini because this is a problem in the core.
