A happy Event: DNN Events version 05.02.03 is released!

Events 05.02.03

This version solves all know issues of the current version (05.02.02) of Events. The amount of code changes is limited, since we did not want to add new functionality to this version, only bug fixes. We have released Events 05.02.03 and this version can be downloaded from CodePlex.

Events 05.02.03 will work for any DNN version 5.5.0 and up. Full details on the changes can be found in great detail at http://dnnevents.codeplex.com/workite....

BUG FIXES

• 05.01.00 Upgrade does not handle notifications in deleted modules correctly. Fixed.
• Module does not handle url parameters that have been converted to lower case properly. Fixed.
• Corrected handling of tooltips after change of category filter.
• Timezones with no DST are now handled correctly in iCal exports.
• Module now handles installations where module friendly name has been changed.
• Fees are now handled as decimal rather than double.
• Removed Custom 3 field from template help.
• iCal files not outputing images when different from RecurMaster. Fixed.
• Events not displaying correctly in week view when first day of week not set to Default. Fixed.
• PayPal IPNs do not display properly in HTML and do not include currency. Fixed.
• List Events show 'No events to display' even when there are some after category filter change. Fixed.
• PayPal IPNs cause object reference error when skin/container controls are used. Fixed.
• Fixed incorrect display of recurrence end in detail view.
• iCal url does not allow users to copy URL. Fixed.

I downloaded the module just now and installed it on both DNN 5.5.0 and 5.6.6. On both, it let me install but as soon as I tried to add it to a page it gives me the following exception:

If you update an existing version (5.2.2), and try to add an event, it will fail while trying to save a new event, saying it cannot convert a string parameter to boolean. I compared the parameters of SqlDataProvider.EventsRecurMasterSave and stored procedure EventsRecurMasterSave and they differ. SqlDataProdiver has TimezoneOffset while the SP does not.

OK, I see the problem. Not sure why this is happening. I'll work on it now.
