HI there,

I have installed the latest events module for DNN and noticed that the new event I created was not saving the EventDateBegin and EventDateEnd value to the corresponding column in the database.

I compared the SP for EventsSave with the older version I have and those columns are indeed missing.

Is this intentional or am I missing something ?

Hi Gideon,

These fields are now redundant (and have been really for some time).

- EventDateBegin showed the date element of EventTimeBegin.
- EventDateEnd showed the last recurrence of a recurring event at a time when a record in the events table was able to show recurring events. This is now handled by EventsRecurMaster.

The end of an individual occurence of an events is calculated by adding Duration (in minutes) to EventTimeBegin.

 We have custom events viewer that was using those fields. We have now modified it to use the proper field.
