 Is there a way to change the names of months and week days in events module? if so how?

 for example, i want to change april  to my native language, or wednesday.

 i did what the documentation says, i changed the site default language from English (US) to Turkish. But neither the date format nor the month/week day names has changed.

 Is there anything i have to do that the documentation does not include?

Yes i also did that. no luck.

is it because i log in as a hostmanager?

and even if it works, what will happen to unauthenticated users? (not logged in)
