Hi Roger and all,

Hopefully this is easier than my last problem!

I need to change the width of the list view, by default it is encroaching on the pane to the left and squishing the menu.

I have spent all morning going through my theme file and making various changes (and then Ctrl+F5'ing the calendar) but I am stumped. I can see where I made previous changes to the height of .ListDate so am assuming that I need to make changes to .ListTitle and/or .ListTable.

Here's how it looks:

.ThemeMyTheme .ListTable {
width:100%;
}

.ThemeMyTheme .ListDate, .ThemeMyTheme .ListRecurText, .ThemeMyTheme .ListRecurUntil {
font-size:11px;
font-family:verdana,helvetica,arial;
text-align:center;
vertical-align:top;
width:85px;
height:30px;
}

.ThemeMyTheme .ListTitle, .ThemeMyTheme .EnrollTitle {
font-size:12px;
font-family:verdana,helvetica,arial;
text-align:left;
vertical-align:top;
}

If I add a width to .ListTitle it does change the width of the Title but then the Event Start and Event End dates expand.

I'm sure I'm overlooking something really obvious.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Holiday week-end in the UK. I'll have a look at this the next time I am sat down for a time in front of my computer.

Cheers
Roger

Can you replicate the issue here - http://www.1066-ice-skating-club.org.uk/NewsEvents.aspx
?

Hi Roger,

I'm in Hastings, UK, and had my bank holiday last week, it had totally slipped my mind that it had been moved/extended for this year! Anyway, it's a minor niggle so enjoy the bank holiday first!

You can see the problem although not quite so bad for some reason on www.1066-ice-skating-club.org.uk/NewsEvents.aspx. If you look at the Home (or any other) page, the right hand pane has "Please support us by advertising here" which is noticeable wider than the one on the News & Events page.

On the site in question, I just have a DDR menu in the left pane and the width of that is also affected.

If I add any other module (HTML, Feedback, etc) to any container then there is no problem but when I add the Events module it adds some 20mm screen width to the container. It doesn't seem to be restricted to the particular container I am using.

I will remove the adjustments we made for the Categories box just to eliminate that as the cause and get back to you.

It's a shame (but typical) that the good weather has vanished now (at least down here it has)!

OK, the calendar on www.1066-ice-skating-club.org.uk/NewsEvents.aspx is now displaying as it was before making the changes to accommodate the Categories box, with no difference. I suspected the Blog archive calendar was what was keeping the left pane from reducing in width, so relocated that to another pane and now you can also see the problem I am having with the left pane.
