Hi Roger,

Can you explain the maximum number of attendees functionality?  I saw on the events documentation that there is a number field where you can set the maximum number.  What I'd like to understand is the workflow.  If I set the max number to 25 then a group of 10 registers does it indicate to the next user that there are only 15 spots left?  Also, what happens when a user attempts to register for more spots than exits?

I also have a question on the exporting functionality.  I see that there is an export but for iCal.  Do you support any pdf, word, or excel exporting?  Essentially, our client is looking to print out the tours for a weekend to help out with the hostess.  Perhaps you have other functionality that accomplishes this.  If so, let me know.

Thanks.

Hi Kacie,

Hopefully I get this correct. If you enable multiple enrolees this will limit how many someone may enrol at one time. On the individual event you can constrain the total number of enrolees for an event. The person doing the enrolment will then be limited to the lesser of - the number of spaces available minues the number already allocated, the maximum set in module settings. They will get an error if the try to enrol more. If I remember correctly the maximum number gets displayed in the error message.

Cheers
Roger

Thanks Roger.  That sounds like it matches our needs.  Do you know if the current number of attendees available for the individual event is a token or other piece of data that can be referenced (like in say the event title or details?)  Was there a screenshot online of the individual event max total that I missed?  I'd be curious to see it.

Can you repsond to my question about exporting (or other similar functionality) to get a list of registered atendees for a specified timeline that can be printed?

Thanks Again.

Hi Kacie,

All the available token are visible from the Templates Help link at the top of the template editing section in module settings. The token [event:maxenrollments] will show the maximum configured on the event, not the currently available number. [event:noenrollments] shows the number currently enroled.

Sorry, missed your export question. No there is no functionality to print/export lists of events. You may wish to take a look at the DNN reports module to help you with that need.

Cheers
Roger

Hi Roger,

Thanks for the prompt reply.  Is there a grid with attendees anywhere?  I might be able to get around the reporting if there is at least a list view of registered attendees.

Thanks.
