Great module!  Thanks for your work on this!

Our company uses the events module for our webinar series.   Some quick questions on best practices:

1. What do you suggest so we may notify enrollees of the webinar url and phone access instructions after we accept the enrollee?

2. Is there a token that we could use to place the url and phone access information for each event so that the regular email notifcations process can insert the data rather then re-entering the data every time.

3. Is there a way that accepted enrollees may login to the site and see the webinar url and phone access instructions after we accept the enrollee?

4. Is there a way to expand the email templates to contain more characters?  (HTML formatted emails could use more than 2000 characters to convey the necessary info.)

Thanks again for your help.

  1. In version 6.1.0 we are adding a Summary field which you could add some content to and then include in the template for the email sent when they enroll. You might also be able to use the Custom Field (there are two) to include you text, and equally include in the relevant templates.
  2. As for 1
  3. As for 1. But if you only want it displayed to approved enrolees we would need to add an extra token. Please could you raise this as a request on our CodePlex site. Usually these tokens are fairly easy to add so there is a good chance we would add for 6.1.0.
  4. In 6.1.0 we are making the length of the description field configureable from the module settings. You can configure as you please.

Cheers
Roger
