Hi,

I have a page with an event module (calendar) and a second page a module written by myself. In this module, I would like to add some events to this calendar. Thus, I am looking for some documentation how to set up and save a proper EventInfo item.

I already tried DotNetNuke.Modules.Events.EventController.EventsSave, but I guess this is NOT the right way. Is there anybody who can help me?

You will also need EventsRecurMasterSave before you do the EventsSave. Most of the fields are the same, and if the this is only for single events you should find it easy to populate the recurrence fields in there. Just have a look at one created by the module proper.

If you can't figure it out from there, ask for more :-)

Thanks, Roger.

I found your call of the proper Events methods in EditEvents.ascx.vb, and I'll strip off all code I don't need (and translate to C#)

If I have more questions, I'll ask you.

Hi Roger,

after a whille of digging through the software, finally I suceeded.
It is very important to set RecurMasterID and EventID to -1. Otherwise the Save method returns with null and without any error message.
