Look into the General settings tab. Option "Use Module Container and Skin", with the help text: Use module container and page skin for views that would normally default to the portal default container and skin.

Yep, it is difficult with so many option to make it easy for every combination...

Ahhh thank you. That worked!

I would never have looked in another place for that feature. Since the two are intrinsically related, they should be in the same panel next to each other.

This just seems like a poorly organized options panel that needs some reorganization.

I look forward to seeing that option moved to where it's more relevant in a future version.

Another option would be to just use the event module as a backend and have a much cleaner anc controllable layout using module such as reports or 2sexycontent to query the nheeded tables and give you 100% control of how and what you want to display
