We have a DNN 6.2.8 site, with Events calendar 5.2.3.  We haven't used Events much recently but we revived it, and now we can't find how to add a new Location.  The location dropdown shows locations we used in the past, but even logged in as host we can't add a new location to the list.  What are we missing?  I've looked through the FAQs and the documentation and I can't find anything about adding a new location.

There should be an menu item to manage locations and categories in the standard action menu of the module (where e.g. the settings, delete actions are found). If the action menu does not show it is an issue of DNN/site itself and mostly related to the skin or container in combination with a version of jQuery.

Thanks for the reply.  Since we definitely don't have an item on the action menu, we obviously have either a skin/container problem, or a jQuery problem, or both.  Is the issue with a version of jQuery, or with the interaction between jQuery and and the skin or whatever?  We're using a commercial skin, In Skin – Light Purple color variant from Cyberspace Solutions, if that rings any bells.

No action menu at all, or just not the additional items on the action menu related to managing locatiosn and categories?

We have a set of menus reached through the Edit Settings icon:  General, Look & Feel, Detail View, etc. - all the items mentioned in the online documentation I was reviewing.  There is a much smaller set of menus reached by the gear icon.  There is nothing in either set of menus about adding a new location, or even managing the list of locations.  When we edit or create a new event, there is a Location dropdown, but there's no way to indicate anything that isn't already there.  I suspect there's a database table somewhere that we no longer have tools to update.

Now you mention categories, I realize that we don't seem to have a way to add a new category, either, although we have some existing categories that I know I added.
