A new release for DNN Events. This release 6.2.1 is a bug fix release to fix an error with enrollment.

Events 06.02.01 will work for any DNN version 7.2.0 and up. Full details on the changes can be found in great detail at http://dnnevents.codeplex.com/workite....

BUG FIXES

  • An error has occurred. Error: Calendar is currently unavailable when clicking My Enrollments. Fixed.

DNN Events 6.2.1 can be downloaded from CodePlex.

my DNN version is 7.3.4 - after installation dnn-events module 6.02.01 DNN runs into error
in the log file notes following:

DotNetNuke.Framework.PageBase - An error has occurred while loading page.
System.TypeInitializationException: Der Typeninitialisierer für "System.Web.Helpers.AntiForgery" hat eine Ausnahme verursacht. ---> System.TypeInitializationException: Der Typeninitialisierer für "System.Web.Helpers.Claims.ClaimsIdentityConverter" hat eine Ausnahme verursacht. ---> System.IO.FileLoadException: Die Datei oder Assembly "Microsoft.IdentityModel, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35" oder eine Abhängigkeit davon wurde nicht gefunden. Das Handle ist ungültig. (Ausnahme von HRESULT: 0x80070006 (E_HANDLE))

@Jan: I have never seen this error before. I am asking others if they can give me a clue about the error.

WHAT TODO???

 Microsoft's IdentityModel namespace is a windows identify framework item (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...) - neither it or System.Web.Helpers.AntiForgery are items we ship with DNN - and I am not aware of any module that current uses WIF. I believe the same classes are reused in asp.net identity (http://www.asp.net/identity/overview/...) which was the more modern update of Microsofts sql server membership provider - however this cannot be updated by a simple dll change, it requires a lot of database changes, data migratation and code changes, so we have elected not to move to asp.net identity. Based on your exception something you use is referencing that - or else you have injected the equivalent OWIN middleware. In either case I would not expect things to work - in fact I would expect the entire site to go down with errors about decrypting data (as it would check for and fail to find your credentials)
