Is it possible to remove a recurring event for just one day?  For example: Christmas is on Monday and the recurring event that is typically scheduled for Monday can not be deleted without removing all the other events.  Is it possible to just remove the event for that one day?

This may have been addressed in the past but just incase it hasn't, I would like to make a suggestion that it be looked at in future enhancements.  In order to make this work the events would have to be individual events but could be grouped together by a group id.  This way if the user needed to remove all events for the group it could be done easily.  If the user need to just remove one event it could also be done.  The "Add Event" interface could also include an option to create the event as a single event (same model as exists today) or the user could create the event as individual events linked by group ID.  This way the user could choose which type of grouping they needed when the event was entered.  I can see uses for both.

Just a thought!!
