I posted an error here:
http://www.avanced.net/Default.aspx?tabid=75&forumid=1&threadid=133&scope=posts
but I noticed that Alan hasn't posted anything or responded to anything since early September.  I'm guessing he's pretty wrapped up with this new Events module so I'll toss something in here.
This is my problem:
I just installed Calendar 3.0.10 on a DNN 3.1.1 install.  The install completed without error.  I can add the module to a page and set Admin options but when I try to add an event I get this error:

Error: Edit Event is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Calendar.CalendarEdit.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I can do other things like add locations and categories but a calendar that I can't add events to is not very useful.  Any idea what's wrong?

I'm also getting the EXACT same error when trying to add events to the calendar.......

Has anyone ANY idea how to fix this or what's even wrong???

Found:  AVanced Calendar Foster Home!!!
Location:  http://www.dotnetnukehouston.com/AVCalendar/tabid/92/Default.aspx
Notes:  They have made available a version 3.1.0 release of AVanced Calendar that fixed my problem.  This should work with DNN 3.2 or below (4.0?).  They seem to be using the AVanced Forum (http://www.avanced.net/Forums/tabid/75/Default.aspx) until theirs is up and running.  That's where I found out about this.

Is  www.dotnetnukehouston.com  calendar a fork from the 'official' avcalendar ? Is it a link between the old AVcalendar and the future version ? What is the safest distribution to start from, in order to have upgrades to the future 'DNN events subprojetc' ?

I'm trying to figure out if I should start from the 'official june 2005 version, or the december version on 'foster home of AVCalendar by Avanced Systems v 3.1.0 '

Thanks for clarification, and for news, either good or bad

Benoit
