Your question points to some larger issues.  I love DNN to death, but there are currently two significant areas that lack good product management:

Release Schedule: 4.4.0 was released on 12/24/2006, but it's not even listed on the official "Release Schedule" page. http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Development/ReleaseSchedule/tabid/944/Default.aspx

Release Notes: It is just absolutely puzzling why there is no "release notes" (with good content) on the Downloads page where the docs, source, etc are located.  Why should I upgrade?  What was in the 4.4.0 release?  Did it address any known bugs? Will that release help me with my current needs/issues?

The board should appoint someone who is in the know for each release to manage these two items. It would be a great step in the right direction.

Sustainable processes without additional resources tend to be a contraining issue.  The manually updated page you are referring to, IMHO, is problematic.  Although not 100% reliable or complete (though close and improving) is the change log produced by our issue tracker here: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/ChangeLog.aspx?PROJID=2

I do not want to be unpolite ma about the Events module in the changelog there it no information at all: neither change logged, nor roadmap.
So back to the topic: any idea when a new build (at least a bug fixing one) will be released?
