On New Year's day I upgraded one of my servers running 4.8.4 to 4.9.2 since the NB_Store module would not run on 4.8.

Everything seemed OK and it did fix the NB_Store so that it worked but then I found that I could no longer create new Portals.

Everytime I try, no matter what template is used I get a pagerequestmangertimeout error.  The new portal appears in the Portal list but has -1 pages and generates an error if I try to edit it's settings.  I have tried disabling AJAX per something I read in another thread but then the new portal page simply sits there forever when submitted.  I left it for 15 minutes and the results were the same as with AJAX enabled.

Has anyone else seen this problem?  Should I try to apply the Upgrade again or will that cause more issues?

Is there a reason you didn't upgrade to DNN 4.9.5?  My first step would be to get to the latest stable release which would have the highest likelihood of having any known issues fixed etc.  Running several point releases behind means you are running a version with a greater likelihood of unwanted behavior...  I cannot say for sure that moving to the latest release of 4.x will fix the issue, but it WILL fix other issues you may not have encountered yet or are unaware of...

I used the file DotNetNuke_Community_04.09.04_Upgrade which was the latest release that I could see.

I will double check for 4.9.5 version.

Just to update.

I have downloaded and installed the 4.09.05 upgrade but encounter the exact same error.

The webserver is running IIS6 with the 3.5 vers of Dotnet Framework installed.
The database server is Microsoft SQL 2005 64-bit with SP2 installed.

It creates the new record in the Portals table and the User table but it fails to add any pages.
