I  had a DNN 5.2 installation running under Windows XP. I migrated to Windows 7 64bit. I attached the database, created the same user with the same password and enabled TCP/IP. I can connect with SQL Server Managament Studio with the same credentials as the ones mentioned in the connection string in DNN.

However when I try to upgrade DNN, I get a "Upgrade Error: ERROR: Could not connect to database specified in connectionString for SqlDataProvider" error message. I don't understand why DNN can't connect while I am able to connect through SSMS. I have verified the information and even copied and pasted the user and password when using SSMS.

Any ideas?
