Hello, after upgrading to latest DNN 5.4 CE I found out that all Greek characters in HTML mode were displayed as &alpha, &sigma etc.
Of cource I did not save this inapproriate content to my database.
Changing to FCK fixed things but the problem with RAD Editor do exist.
I believe that this problem exist in all unicode characters for non US/UK language.
I could not find anything at all in Telerik website regarding this issue which means that DNN Corporation choice on Telerik RAD Editor is poor to say the least.
FCK was and is the editor of choice for all open source community and it supported all of our neads through these years without a glitch.
I must admit that I am very sceptical on developing any more of my websites with the CE of DNN since the new releases tend to brake all the trust and confidence we had to both core team and the portal code itself.

Our clients also encounter the same issue and I found out the poste mentioned how to fix it - http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/aspnet-ajax/editor/radeditor-converting-greek-characters-to-their-html-entities.aspx. But I don't know how to apply it for dnn RadEditor. Anyone helps?

I found a solution for that problem. The only thing that you have to do is to change the ConfigFile.xml inside the DesktopModules>Admin>RadEditorProvider>ConfigFile and rewrite the <property name="ContentFilters">DefaultFilters</property> to
<property name="ContentFilters">RemoveScripts,EncodeScripts,FixUlBoldItalic,FixEnclosingP,IECleanAnchors,MozEmStrong,
ConvertFontToSpan,OptimizeSpans,ConvertToXhtml,IndentHTMLContent</property>. You are actually indicate to the RadEditor what Filters to use and you remove the ConvertCharactersToEntities Filter that generates the problem.

Hope it helps...
