00:00:19.722 -   Installing Package File HTML_Community_05.04.03_Install:  Error!

Nothing in the SQL logs at providers/dataproviders/SqlDataProvider.  No error logged in Event Viewer either.  I've got .NET 3.5 SP1 installed as well as .NET 4.0.  Running on SQL Server 2008 Express on localhost.  Any ideas?

Ok, I went back and did a step stone approach to upgrading.  I installed 5.02.0, then 5.02.01, and then 5.05.01.  I didn't receive the first application upgrades error when I did this, however, each time, it tries to update the HTML_Community package and it fails. For example, in the transition from 5.02.01 to 5.05.01, I received the following two errors:

00:00:16.011 -   Installing Package File HTML_Community_05.02.00_Install:  Error!
00:00:16.470 -   Installing Package File HTML_Community_05.04.03_Install:  Error!

Once again, I checked the Event Viewer and no errors are reported there, although there are successful messages related to upgrades of other modules.  What does this module actually refer to?  Is there a way to manually install the HTML_Community package?

Thanks,

--Kevin

Ok, I grabbed the install .zip file from the install package and tried to manually install it.  I got this messages:

Error loading files from temporary folder - see below
StartJob Starting Installation
Info Starting Installation - DNN_HTML
Failure Package Installation aborted - DNN_HTML
Failure Package Installation aborted
Info Installation Failed - DNN_HTML
Info Deleted temporary install folder
EndJob Installation Failed

if you do multi step upgrades, you only need to install module upgrades on latest step. besides you may restart and install both modules interactively afterwards from Host :: Extensions.

Thanks Sebastian,

However, I have tried to upgrade the HTML module after performing the incremental upgrade, but it still fails. The error message appears to be the following:

Error loading files from temporary folder

However, this doesn't appear to be helping much.  I was hoping to avoid having to debug the upgrade, but I may not have a choice. Can someone point me to something that would help me do that?

Thanks,

Kevin
